Giuseppe Capoluongo, Software Architect & Senior Full Stack Developer

Software that brings order to documents, data and processes.

I design and build business platforms for companies that work every day with lots of documents and complex workflows. I integrate AI into your systems to optimise processes and reduce manual work.

01 · Why a hands-on architect

I design the architecture, then I write it.

From the database to the user interface, all the way to production. Fewer hand-offs between the people who decide and the people who build, fewer surprises halfway through, and software that someone can still explain three years from now.

  • a.
One technical point of contactFrom analysis to production, the same person is accountable for the decisions.
  • b.
Real systems, under real loadLike a waste-tracking platform handling thousands of orders a month.
  • c.
AI and agents in my methodI use them for analysis, development and testing: shorter timelines, the same care over decisions. And I can build them into your processes when they are useful.
02 · What can be automated

The repetitive work on documents

A few examples of what I build. Every company has its own case: we always start from how you work today.

  1. 01

Data from PDFs and scans, straight into your system

Invoices, delivery notes, handwritten forms: the system reads the document, extracts the fields and offers them already filled in. Your people only check the doubtful cases instead of retyping everything.

  2. 02

Documents arriving by email, already sorted

Attachments are read as soon as they arrive, recognised and linked to the right case, customer or job, with a notification to whoever's in charge.

  3. 03

Deadlines and mandatory documents under control

Certificates, permits, medical checks, renewals: the system knows what's about to expire and what's missing, and flags it before it becomes a problem in an audit.

  4. 04

An archive you can ask questions

Contracts, procedures and past cases are searched by typing a question in plain language. The answer comes with a reference to the document it was taken from.

It connects to what you already use. No need to change tools: the software works alongside

03 · Ways of working

Four ways to work together

Per project or as a package, always with a written proposal before we start.

End-to-end project

per project

From analysis to production. I learn the process, design the architecture, build the backend and frontend, ship it and support the first months of use.

What you get: a working, documented system in production, with a clear plan for how it grows.

Consulting and architecture review

fixed package

A fixed-scope engagement with a clear start and end. I review your system or your plans, identify risks and bottlenecks, and hand you concrete recommendations, in order of priority.

What you get: a written assessment, a walkthrough session and a technical roadmap your team can follow.

Agencies and software houses

white-label too

I work alongside you when a complex project needs a senior profile: architecture, full stack development, AI integration. I fit into your tools, and the client stays yours.

What you get: senior capacity when you need it, without a new hire.

Ongoing part-time architect

monthly retainer

A part-time architect working alongside your team. I set the architecture choices, review code, build the most delicate parts and turn business goals into technical priorities.

What you get: technical continuity and ownership, with a commitment that scales up or down with you.

04 · Case studies

Real projects, in brief

Client names stay confidential: what matters is the problem, and what I did to solve it.

HSE compliance 2025 · ongoing

AI inside the document workflows for HSE compliance

BeforeRisk assessments, incident reports and compliance documents read by hand and retyped into forms, one by one.
AfterDocuments are read and classified, and the data lands in the forms already filled in: people check instead of retyping.

Circular economy 2018 – 2022

A logistics platform for the circular economy, rebuilt without stopping it

From the first call to software that stays yours

  1. 01Free 20-minute callI get to know the problem and tell you straight away whether I can help.
  2. 02Written proposalGoals, scope, timeline and investment, per project or as a package.
  3. 03Short iterationsFrequent releases and regular updates, no disappearing for months.
  4. 04Documented handoverCode and documentation stay with you, even after the project ends.

06 · About me

I'm Giuseppe, and I work from Reggio Emilia, Italy.

I live in Reggio Emilia and I've been building software for ten years, freelance since 2016. A document archive nobody can search any more, a process that lives in ten spreadsheets, an internal system that has stopped growing: those are the problems where software makes a real difference to someone's working day.

I've led teams, made architecture decisions and written the code to put them into practice. I work in Italian and English (C1).

When the laptop is closed you'll find me in the mountains or on a tennis court.
